Abstract

The Research in Accessible Voting (RAV) initiative functioned as a sub-contract under the Research Alliance for Accessible Voting (RAAV) grant, which was funded by the Election Assistance Commission and overseen by Dr. Ted Selker. This endeavor took place across CMU-Silicon Valley and the Data Democracy Initiative at CITRIS, located at the University of California Berkeley. The primary focus was on creating and evaluating novel methods to enhance the accessibility of voting for individuals with physical, cognitive, and perceptual impairments. Presently, the codebase for the various RAV projects is actively maintained and is hosted by TechDojo.
